What We Do

Instructional Design

We are experienced in developing both lecture and self-study courses in a range of media, from print-based to Web-based, on such topics as
  • Web servers
  • Internet security
  • UNIX servers
  • Multimedia servers
  • Computer hardware architectures
  • Computer reliability
  • Networking

In addition, we have designed tutorials, lecture-led training, and interactive group training on:

  • Basic sales skills
  • Improving reseller performance
  • Using database programs
  • Using drawing programs
  • Designing user interfaces
  • Emerging network technology

Web-Based Training

We were one of the first training companies to develop multimedia courses using Web technology, which is both less expensive and more easily distributed than traditional Computer-Based Training technology. This has proven especially useful to our high-technology clients. Our web courses are not only attractive, they are instructionally sound.

Documentation

We do both technical writing and editorial work such as checking for style, grammar, and consistency. Development of organizational standards and guidelines for documentation and training is a specialty.

Needs Analysis/Evaluation

We are experienced in performing both formative and summative evaluation and needs analyses, ranging from basic survey research to multi-measure studies aimed at determining the effectiveness of products, programs, or processes.

Using mail, e-mail, and/or personal interviews, our surveys and reports have been singled out for praise for two reasons:

  • Our well-substantiated findings are supported with quotes from respondents and easy-to-understand charts and graphs.
  • Our recommendations are clear and actionable.

Process Improvement

The same skills which allow us to analyze information in order to convey it most effectively allows us to analyze work tasks and organizational processes in order to improve them. We can do task analyses, create better job descriptions, design job aids, and redesign processes to make them more efficient and effective.

Statistical Analyses

We are capable of carrying out a wide range of statistical analyses on data from many sources: experiments, surveys, observational studies, and process control data. We also convey the results in plain language, not jargon.
